High-performance simplicity
The BSTs range offers four-axis press brakes built for reliability and performance. On Schiavi's solid traditional structure, with an X–R back gauge and the Athena numerical control, the BSTs covers a wide range of needs with forces from 56 to 141 US tons and bed lengths from 4 to 13 feet.
Every Schiavi press brake is run by Athena, developed in-house by the Task Dynamic division. It works both as the machine's numerical control and as offline software, monitoring, analyzing and optimizing every stage of production in real time.
Athena Numerical Control
The four-axis press brake with an X–R back gauge is designed to cover a wide range of needs and aid the operator during bending. An automatic 2D bending sequence search is available on request.
Cover Standard Needs
Schiavi's patented modular lower table gives the BSTs its compensation on a simple, traditional structure: side cylinders move the upper table while table deformation is automatically corrected, ensuring perfect parallelism along the entire bending length.

Details
Equipped with an X–R back gauge and the Athena numerical control, the BSTs models range from 56 to 141 US tons and from 4′ 1″ to 13′ 9″ bed length. Hybrid drive is available on the compact 50.12 and 50.20, which are also the press brakes inside the TK Mini bending cell.
Athena connects to your company network and to the Bending System office software, so programs move between the office and the shop floor.
